NEW REQUIREMENTS for Norwegian-registered foreign companies (NUF) posting their employees to business trips

As of 1 July, 2017, Norwegian law imposes that NUFs must follow the strict regulations of applying Health and Safety Regulations (HMS) and duty to train Managers (complete an obligatory HMS course), to choose and train HMS representatives (Verneombud), as well as to comply with the requirements of the Labor Code (Arbeidsmiljøloven).
