On the 9th of November we were glad to host a social event introducing some of the genuinely traditional Norwegian cuisine specialities. A very informative presentation was given by Halvor Heuch - Norway’s leading Aquavit expert and product manager at Arcus Products. 
The event was held at Radisson Blu Lietuva conference lounge in Vilnius. 
A story behind Akevitt heads back to XV century Scandinavia where this traditional flavoured spirit formed a part of Northern drinking culture. The guests had a chance to get themselves familiar with this traditional Norwegian drink and taste 5 different kinds of aquavit. The degustation followed by “Får i kål” served in a traditional Norwegian style lamb and cabbage dish, very well prepared by Radisson Blu Lietuva kitchen chefs.
The event has brought a great pattern for businessmen from both countries to get together in a less formal environment. Hence it was generally acknowledged as another successful event.NLCC would like to thank all the participants and mostly the sponsors: our silver Members: Byggeleverandørene AS, Print IT, Inova Experts.
