INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN A CONSULTATION

Lithuania will receive €122 million under the EEA & Norway Grants 2014 – 2021 (Donor States – Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Out of the total budget, up to €14 million will be dedicated to the private sector via “Business Development, Innovation and SMEs” programme.

The Business Development and Innovation  programme will aim to increase value creation and sustainable growth across enterprises in Lithuania focusing on green industry innovation, including bio-economy. This programme is operated by the Lithuanian Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA).

This programme area opens excellent opportunities for organizations to partner on bilateral projects in the areas mentioned above.

Before the start to announce the calls for application, MITA is keen to identify the main problems/challenges that could be solved by the Programme and the possible solutions to those problems/challenges. Therefore, the purpose of this consultation is to gather views on how to make the very most of allocated money of the EEA & Norway Grants 2014 – 2021 for the “Business Development, Innovation and SMEs” programme.
