The Board of Directors of ADB Gjensidige appointed Bogdan Benczak as new CEO of Gjensidige in the Baltics. Bogdan Benczak will assume the position on 3 July.
“Bogdan Benczak has extensive experience and proven results from his career in the Baltic and Eastern European insurance markets. We are confident that he has the managerial and personal qualities which are necessary to lead Gjensidige”, – says Aysegul Cin, Chair of the Board of ADB Gjensidige.

Mr. Benczak has been in non-life and life insurance business for over 20 years and has held numerous managerial positions in PZU SA and ERGO insurance groups. Until 31 December, 2022 he served as the Chair of the Board of ERGO in the Baltics. He holds the master’s degree in law and administration from Warszaw University and Master of Business Administration from Gdansk Fund of Managers’ Education, Business School in Rotterdam University.

Company’s gross written premiums increased by 17 per cent to EUR 40 million in the first quarter 2023.
