Pandemic had limited direct meetings and events, so it was a pleasure for all NLCC members to finally meet at NLCC AGM dinner at Hotel PACAI, Vilnius restaurant. The evening was opened and welcomed by the Norwegian Ambassador to Lithuania H.E. Mr. Ole T. Horpestad.
The war in Ukraine is an inevitable topic of conversation at almost every event or gathering these days. This time, the Norwegian – Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce has found a way to contribute to the collection of humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people.
5 NLCC members Ekornes, Tronhill biuro kėdės, Devold of Norway, Ergolain and Schage Eiendom donated special prizes, which were purchased by the participants of the evening during the auction.
The funds received – 6 475 Eur, which will be donated to NGO “Hug Refugees” started by Morten Kroslid. This NGO organizes special buses that help war refugees from Ukraine reach safe places. The buses go from Lviv to Krakow and Oslo. The journey of one bus, which can evacuate about 45 people, costs about 5 000 Euros.
