Energy security is one of the most important issues raised by all the countries in the Baltic region. Development of offshore wind is the key not only to reaching the increased power demand and climate goals but also an important step towards strengthening energy independence, especially in the new geopolitical situation caused by unprovoked full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
September 7 organised meeting with Norwegian Offshore wind delegation, including offshore wind developers and industry leaders, who will be visiting Vilnius as part of the Norwegian Energy Partners trade mission to the Baltic region.
The event agenda consists of seminar on development of offshore wind sector in Norway and Lithuania, as well as B2B meetings. NLCC members related to energy sector will be invited separately.
