On 19th August, the Norwegian – Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, together with the ISM University of Management & Economics, the University of Iceland and the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania co-hosted a joint leadership event at ISM Innovators base.

We had a discussion about the color and shades of Nordic Leadership which is characterized as Participative, Transformational and Team-oriented leadership. The event started with a brief analysis of all Nordic countries and a lively panel discussion, chaired by Živilė Kropaitė, allowed us to look at a subject through the eyes of the authors of the book “Demystifying Leadership in Iceland” – Árelía Eydís Guðmundsdóttir, Svala Gudmundsdottir, Inga Minelgaite and Olga Stangej, and to explore the uniqueness of leadership in Iceland. Some really cool facts about Icelanders were told!
